Head of State Ali Bongo has just made twenty or so buses available to baccalaureate candidates to transport them during the baccalaureate exams which take place this week.
Candidates from Woleu-Ntem, Ngounié, Nyanga, Haut-Ogooué, Ogooué-Maritime and Ogooué-Ivindo. And those of Greater Libreville will benefit this Tuesday, June 13, 2023, free transport to their examination center. Indeed, this decision of the Head of State aims, essentially, to relieve the candidates on the question of transport, particularly for those from the interior of the country where the conditions of travel are generally difficult.
This instruction from the Head of State is put under the coordination of Ministers Camélia Ntoutoume-Leclerq (National Education) and Roger Bibaye Itandas (Transport), the general management of the Gabonese Transport Company (Sogatra). The Director of Sogatra who ensures that provisions ” have been taken to ensure the transport of the candidates”.
It should be noted that a total of 25,959 candidates, including 10,471 boys and 15,488 girls, will be examined during the written examinations for the General and Technological Baccalaureate for the June 2023 session. According to the program issued by the General Management examinations and competitions (DGEC), it is the candidates of the B series who open the ball with the Science and Economics test this Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
