Free Tax Help for Los Angeles Residents, Including Undocumented Individuals with ITINs

Los Angeles California.- Taxpayers in Los Angeles can receive free help to prepare their taxes. The benefit includes residents undocumented who prepare their declaration of taxes with ITIN. Find the nearest center on our interactive map.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program provides free basic tax return preparation for low- and moderate-income taxpayers.

Assistance is available now through April 15. Dates and times vary by location. Also, you should consider that some of these centers require appointments.

CSUN University offers the VITA Clinic services with free tax preparation assistance for low-income residents of the San Fernando Valley and other areas of Los Angeles.

CSUN’s VITA Clinics are helping Californians qualify for the California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC). That is, those people with an annual income equal to or less than $57,000.
