Chico, Calif. – A free Tai Chi event will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the downtown Chico City Plaza, offering a unique opportunity for community members to celebrate life and improve their well-being.
Organized by Azad’s Martial Arts Center, the event commemorates the birthday of Grandmaster Farshad Azad’s late instructor, who passed away on Feb. 21. “We are inviting everybody in the public to join us at a free event in downtown Chico at the plaza,” Azad said. “So every year we celebrate my late instructor’s birthday, which was actually on 21 February. but on the 22nd, we are getting together in downtown plaza to practice some Tai Chi and to share some love and to share some movement to learn how to live a healthier life, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically all the way around, and I wanna share that with everybody in the public so they can be a part of that party of my instructor’s life.”
