Dallas ISD students can take free swimming lessons thanks to a program that was launched for children and youth ages 6 to 18.
The program stems from a partnership with the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department and Dallas Aquatics.
If the minor also wishes to train to become a lifeguard, he or she may also take classes and should inform them at the time of registration.
How to register?
Parents must go to the location they are interested in to complete the registration process.
The process requires your household information, student ID number, and school.
Once the registration is full, the team will let you know which time and level is best.
Students must bring a swimsuit, towel and their “googgles” or swimming goggles.
