A store where everything that can be found is free. They can boast of this in the Montana village of Stubel. The initiative is of local people who collect unnecessary clothes and belongings from their homes to go where they will be needed. Anyone can enter it and take it without paying.
The mall, as people in the village joke, is gaining more and more popularity. The idea is the mayor of Stubel Emilia Grigorova. She says that in the store, everyone leaves items that they don’t need, but can be useful to someone else.
Thus, in the premises of a former shop, which has not been working for a long time, the women of the village began to arrange jackets, blouses, trousers, children’s clothes and shoes and other items.
Of course, the clothes must be washed and become wearable, says Viloeta Todorova, who is also involved with the store.
Gerogieva says that they brought tables and poles to arrange clothes and household items. And there is no shortage of people willing to “buy”.
The store is open every day from 8 am to 4:30 pm and there is no salesperson in it. Violetta says that there is no need for them to guard, because anyone who wants will come in and take what they need. She adds that everything is voluntary. Stubel’s mayor says the idea has gained traction.
The village has another idea, if they collect a lot of clothes to help people in trouble or after disasters, writes NOVA.
