NEW YORK — As children return to school for the 2023-2024 school year, in addition to notebooks and pencils, New York City is also requiring school health exams, which are free for children.
In addition to free school health exams, available at no cost through the medical insurance offered by the citywhich is also for undocumented immigrants, New York City also offers all recommended vaccines for children ages 4 and up.
On the other hand, NYC Health + Hospitals offers comprehensive health care for all New York City children from birth to age 21. Vaccines are also available by appointment for children ages 0-2 at all NYC H+H healthcare centers.
