Free Rides Available for El Paso Early Voters

Early voting has begun in Texas to record breaking numbers!

El Paso is no different, with many early voters lining up from early morning to cast their 2024 vote!

Early voting continues through November 1, and election day is November 5.

If you’re unable to vote either in person because of lack of transportation and are left wondering how you’ll make it to a polling location in El Paso, not to worry because the city has you covered!

The El Paso Transportation Authority, or the ETA, is administered by the El Paso Area Transportation Services, Local Government Corporation (EPATS, LGC), to encourage and assist local municipalities to join and cooperate in providing regional public transportation solutions in El Paso County.

Speaking with CBS 4 Local on the importance of getting voters to polling locations, Xavier Bañales the interim director for the El Paso Transportation Authority said:

It’s an effort to remind people about the importance of voting.

And right he is; this election year not only are we voting for President, but also Mayor of El Paso as well as many other important issues like Proposition A, which deals with the Multipurpose Performing Arts and Entertainment facility that was planned for Downtown El Paso.

You can find a list of early voting locations hereas well as more info on ETA here. Make your voice be heard and vote, El Paso!
