Free Practice 2 US MotoGP 2021: Marc Marquez Consistently Becomes the Fastest, Valentino Rossi Still Scattered: Okezone Sports

RESULTS free practice 2 MotoGP United States (US) 2021 is still dominated by Repsol Honda Team racers, Marc Marquez. He managed to maintain his consistency until he was still unstoppable when he performed on the first day of the 2021 US MotoGP.

Appearing at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Austin, Saturday (2/10/2021) early morning WIB, Marc Marquez was able to show his dominance in the 2nd free practice session. The 28-year-old racer was again the fastest and was unstoppable by other racers. .

Honda, Ducati and Yamaha continued to try their best, but Marquez was still very difficult to contain. Accelerating on an already dry circuit, Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo tried to do better than the first free practice.

The French racer was also able to accelerate almost 10 seconds in the second free practice. But it didn’t last long, Marc Marquez was able to return to being the fastest beyond Quartararo.

Two Ducati riders, Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia, also tried to be the fastest. But, just like Quartararo, they also failed to get past Marquez.

Several other riders tried to give their best in free practice session 2. However, Marquez and Miller are still difficult to move from their position as the two fastest riders.

The competition between Marquez and Miller who fought for the first position became hot after the free practice session rolled halfway. However, The Baby Alien-Marquez’s nickname-with his Honda motorbike is still very difficult to contain.

Unlucky fate must befall Iker Lecuona, Aleix Espargaro, and Miguel Oliveira. The three riders had to fall from their motorbikes in the last minute of the second free practice session.

However, towards the end of free practice session 2, Pecco – Bagnaia’s nickname – was able to shift Marc Marquez’s position as the fastest. It didn’t take long for Quartararo to show his best again and become the fastest for Yamaha.

Seeing his position had been taken by several other racers, Marquez again showed off at the last minute. The Spaniard was finally able to regain his position as the fastest in the 2nd free practice session.
