Today, pianists Vestards Šimkus and Annika Lanka will perform in Kuldīga, in the block of Kalķu Street, the representative of the block of Kalķu Street, Roberts Jansons, informed the agency LETA.
The time of the concert is scheduled from 19:00 to 20:30. Free entrance.
At the concert, Šimkus will perform his piano pieces from the solo album “Drops of Light” released in France, says Jansons. On the other hand, Lanka will indulge in creativity and show classical music from a different – new point of view.
Both Šimkus and Lanka will play on a special UNA Corda piano, built by the world-famous piano builder Dāvids Kļaviņš.
The creatively industrial block of Kalķu Street in Kuldīga continues to implement a cycle of free open-air concerts to promote cultural accessibility to the public, especially local residents.
Several local businesses are currently located in the block of Kaļķu street – the brewery “Duna Brewery”, the restaurant “KOPA Taste”, the workshop of the world-famous piano maker Dāvids Kļaviņš “Klavins Piano”, the coffee roaster “Curonia Coffee Roasters”, the environmentally friendly paint workshop “Raitums” and others .
