To be able to game online on the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, you must be a PlayStation Plus subscriber. Every now and then, however, Sony releases the network to everyone and they will do that again in December. This time focused on three games.
The ‘Free’ Online ‘Weekend’ applies to FIFA 21, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Grand Theft Auto Online. If you own these games and want to play online, but you don’t have a PlayStation Plus, you can take advantage of this free weekend.
The weekend to which this applies is Saturday, December 19 at midnight to 24 hours later on Sunday, December 20 at around midnight. Although Sony calls it a free weekend, it is actually only a day. A bit scanty, but better than nothing.
