The operator of Xavier Niel confirmed on Twitter the name of his new box, which should arrive soon. The teasing is launched and Free calls for calm, “she is coming” he declares on the blue bird, in response to Georgette, the famous Grandma of Cantal. A rather offbeat, half-word answer, which nevertheless confirms the name of her new baby, using the onomatopoeia which will give her name: “Popopop, we calm down, it is coming…”. The Freebox V8 will be the Freebox Pop, as Universe Freebox had announced to you several months ago.
We can therefore expect a launch in the coming weeks, after many postponements, notably because of the Coronavirus epidemic. The tweet was also shared by Thomas Reynaud, CEO of Iliad and the official account of the parent company of Free.
