Friday April 9, 2021, the City of Lille has voted to make 3 city museums free for students and also all young people under 30 years old. The Natural History and Hospice Comtesse museums as well as the Palace of Fine Arts are concerned.
Martine Aubry, mayor of Lille, presented to the city council a deliberation on the free admission of 3 municipal museums, for students and those under 30 years old.
These are the Palais des Beaux-Arts, the Musée d’Histoire Naturelle and the Musée de l’Hospice Comtesse, for a period of 3 months from their reopening.
This deliberation was voted unanimously by the Municipal Council on April 9, 2021.
A cultural mini-website
Pending the long-awaited reopening of cultural venues, the City has launched a mini-website dedicated to Culture in Lille thanks to which everyone can continuously find cultural news in Lille: virtual exhibitions, arts in the city, online activities for all audiences, etc.
