Microsoft released Halo Infinite multiplayer mode without prior notice. Users can now download “Halo Infinite” on Xbox and on PC stores, including Steam. The multiplayer section of “Halo Infinite” is free to play.
The unannounced version of “Halo Infinite” comes as part of the anniversary celebrations that Microsoft has set up to celebrate Xbox’s 20th anniversary. That could best be described as a surprise – were it not for rumors of an upcoming launch over the weekend.
The “Halo Infinite” multiplayer mode is free to play and sold separately from the single player portion. Single-player fans will get their money on December 8, but they’ll have to pay: “Hello Infinite” costs €70 for PC on a regular basis.

According to user reports, the first-person shooter multiplayer mode can be downloaded from Steam, while downloads will begin gradually on other stores – including Microsoft’s Xbox platform for consoles and PC. It remains to be seen if the servers can withstand the automatic assault of players.

Multiplayer is still in beta
Microsoft officially invited the early launch of the multiplayer section of the “Hello Infinite” beta. However, all Ultimate Edition cards are already playable. All progress made now in beta must remain unlocked in the “final” version.
Online Heise will be able to play the “Hello Infinite” multiplayer mode in early August as part of the technical preview. Despite the technical issues, the results were positive at the time: “Overall, ‘Halo Infinite’ finally feels like a real trip to one of the ring worlds: as Spartan Armor recovers well, a soft goosebumps sound can be heard on the veteran’s skin. Hello,” said the review for ‘Halo Infinite.
