This is because the office of Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine will host the Wednesday, October 4, the free immigration workshop Known Your rights! on the rights of immigrants together with the organizations NY Legal Assistance Group, the Mexican Coalition, CUNY Citizenship Now and the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. People can attend and learn about topics such as applying for asylum, deportation (procedures of removal), U visas, T visas, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJs) and immigration fraud.
