Zernike complex
On December 12, 13 and 14, young adults can get the vaccination at the Zernike complex, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. GGD Groningen vaccinates at the ACLO Sports Center, meeting room (via the sports bar). The vaccination is free. It is not necessary to make an appointment, but you must bring ID. International students can also get the vaccination.
HPV
HPV stands for it human papillomavirus. You usually don’t notice anything about the virus, but it is very contagious. If you have HPV, you can easily infect someone else without knowing it. In some cases, an infection can lead to cancer. The vaccine protects well against 6 types of cancer.
Children receive the vaccination through the National Vaccination Program. In 2023, the group born between January 1, 1996 and December 31, 2003 will have the opportunity to get the vaccination through a catch-up campaign.
It remains possible to get the HPV vaccination on the Osloweg in Groningen. More information about opening hours and HPV >
