“Severed Steel” is a high-speed FPS for single game only. The player controls the main character Steel and uses elegant parkour actions to defeat enemies that appear one after another. Steel can perform actions such as wall running, diving, flipping, and sliding. Various parkours can be easily performed without interruptions, and during such actions “enemy bullets do not hit.” Also, there is an element that slows down time if you aim your weapon with the right click. While avoiding enemy bullets and returning fire, it’s a system that easily transforms into elegant actions.
There is no reloading of the gun in this work, and it is a system that replenishes means of attack by stealing the weapons equipped by defeated enemies. You can also perform dynamic movements like an action movie hero, like defeating enemies while throwing them with smooth parkour action, then go with the flow and grab your gun to defeat the next enemy. Also, you can slow down the flow of time, so you can slip between the bullets flying around and quickly get close and hit the bullets. Depending on the player’s skill, the battle becomes more and more elegant.
The stages of this job are made up of voxels, which can be destroyed with weapons such as Steel’s left arm cannon. You can attack with a high degree of freedom, such as destroy even walls without doors to forcefully create a path and launch a surprise attack on the enemy behind the wall.
Also, although this work is a beta version, it comes with a level editor and you can create your own stages. You can also share the stages you create. After playing the campaign mode, it would be nice to create a stage or enjoy a stage created by other players.
