On Thursday, March 18, 2021, free corona rapid tests will take place in the town hall (Ordnungsamt window). Appointments can be made online (Zur Appointments). The tests are offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are carried out by the German Red Cross (Kreisverband Wittmund eV).
The tests are aimed exclusively at people who are symptom-free. If you have symptoms typical of Corona, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or a restricted sense of taste, you should contact your family doctor by phone. They will receive further advice and, if necessary, arrange a free laboratory test.
