The old cruise Boudicca from Fred. Olsen Cruise Line was stranded for scrapping in Aliaga, Turkey.
Fred. Olsen sold the ship in 2020 and it was destined to become a lodging vessel, plans that apparently failed.
The Boudicca enjoyed a 42-year career that began with Royal Viking Line. This was one of the first cruise ships to be extended, according to the Cruise News Industry.
The ship also operated for Norwegian Cruise Line, Birka Line, Princess Cruises it is included Star Cruises, Hyundai e Iberojet before reaching Peace. Olsen en 2005.
In September 2020, in addition to Boudicca, the shipping company sold the Black Watch, both being replaced by the new ships Bolette and Borealis, respectively.
