Last weekend was the end for Fredrik Skavlan (55) and his talk show. In a recent documentary about his own career, Skavlan summarizes 25 years as a talk show king, together with former “Skavlan” colleague Niklas Källner, writes VG.
In the documentary, Skavlan himself records the episode with Marit Bjørgen (41) from 2010. The former cross-country queen visited the program after the end of the cross-country season, where she won three Olympic gold medals in Vancouver.

During the interview, Skavlan Bjørgen asks to show the arm muscles.
– I started talking about her muscles and made her show them. It was a body focus, then, right? Which was uncomfortable for her. But I did not understand that, says Skavlan in the documentary according to VG.
In Bjørgen’s biography “Winner Heart”, which was launched earlier this autumn, Bjørgen describes how uncomfortable she felt the situation was.
Bjørgen: – Respect
Skavlan says today that he thought he was funny when he asked Bjørgene to show muscle.
– I played more of a role in the early years, a young host who was a bit “cheeky”. I should never have done that today, he says The 55-year-old.
Marit Bjørgen thinks it is good that Skavlan tells about what happened.
– I have finished with this case, but there is respect for the fact that he is humble about it, Bjørgen says to VG.
According to VG, Skavlan does not want to comment on the documentary.
