The community council of December 14 met in Frayssinhes (read our edition of December 16) defined four priorities. We have already mentioned in these columns the local health contract (CLS), which makes unequal access to care a priority issue. This commitment will make it possible to define strategies and objectives in terms of access to care. It will be funded 50% by the Regional Health Agency and 50% by Cauvaldor.
Second priority: support cultural events in the area. The automobile event organized by the Ecurie des 1 000 Tours has a positive impact on the economy. The same is true for the Ecaussystème association: the festival’s influence and the strong economic benefits are an asset for the region. Exceptional grants will be awarded for this purpose.
€ 29,000 for the exploitation of the salt source
Another priority: to rediscover the water of Miers, whose exploitation as mineral water is once again authorized. The Alvina company will exploit and bottle the water from the source located in Alvignac, a target of 4 million bottles per year and eight recruitments by 2024. The elected officials have decided to allocate a subsidy of € 29,000 for the construction of this ambitious project.
The ecological transition is the 4th priority recorded by this community council; Cauvaldor will set up a one-stop shop for energy renovation (GURE). Five years after the Paris climate agreements, the targets for global warming have not been reached. The idea of creating GURE and going faster and stronger in terms of reducing energy consumption, by simplifying procedures for users.
