The man is accused of fraudulent bankruptcy, tax fraud and tax crimes.
The investigations originated in Sardiniawhere the entrepreneur manages a bar-restaurant through his son. In Cava de’ Tirreni, however, he has owned a business for over forty years, specializing in formal wear. In recent times, however, the shop has experienced a progressive economic decline, accompanied by conflicts with partners and staff. The charges are based on an alleged attempt to disguise assets to simulate insolvency, harming creditors. According to the investigators, the entrepreneur would have distracted, hidden or squandered part of his assets to avoid forced recovery.
