In recent days, new attempts to defraud citizens by strangers have become known for allegedly paying bills from the Epirus Regional Development Fund.
The unknown people obtain information from “Diaugia”, contact the payees by phone, citing the names of alleged employees of the Regional Fund and ask for details of bank account codes or refer them to fake links supposedly of other cooperating banks in order to pay them the debts.
The Region of Epirus reiterates once more that there is no chance its employee, as well as that of the Regional Development Fund, to ask a trader or any other citizen for bank codes and those who receive such calls should contact its services immediately.
It is also pointed out that:
- The emails of the Epirus Regional Development Fund and its executives are posted on its website.
- The telephone numbers of PTA Epirus are 2651034054 and 2651037781. Any other telephone that calls you on our behalf should know in advance that it does not belong to us.
