Thomas Bauer’s team invites you to the “Fraport – Flag Football Week of Sports” in January. A campaign by the Rhein-Main Rockets with the aim of getting young people excited about a great sport. In January, Fraport – Flag Football Week is a free, hands-on offer to get to know our club and our sport. It will take place on Wednesday 18 January. at the Schiller School, Goethestraße 109, 63067 Offenbach, starting at 18:10 and Saturday 21 January. in the Ernst-Reuter-School, Rumpenheim at 9.30am
Flag football is football “for everyone”: it can be played on grass or indoors with little contact. Integration is also an important aspect, particularly in the field of children and young people. ALL children and young people (boys, girls) can be used in the various positions, regardless of whether they are fat or thin, small or large. This approach promotes the self-confidence and social skills of children and young people and motivates them to play sports as a group.
Those who caught football fever during the hot phase of the NFL season and are now intrigued but still don’t want to take the risk of a contact sport will find an interesting alternative and entry point in flag football.
