GERMAN WAGRAM. City Councilor for Culture Franz Spehn made his 133rd blood donation in March. Spehn explains: “When I was 18, my father took me to the Red Cross blood drive for the first time and since then I’ve been donating regularly four times a year”.
Donating blood is very important to Spehn because blood is vital and has a limited shelf life and only a few percent of the population donate blood regularly.
