BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Dave Campbell’s Texas Football released their high school rankings ahead of Week 10 of the season, and Franklin is still representing the Brazos Valley.
Previously top-ranked Franklin fell to the No. 8 team in Class 3A Division I. The Lions’ 39-game winning streak was snapped after suffering a 52-49 loss to Lorena. The Leopards entered the rankings at No. 7.
This is the first time Franklin is not ranked No. 1 since 2020 (31 straight rankings).
Lovelady moved up to No. 5 in Class 2A Division II. The Lions are 7-0 this season and will take on Sabine Pass this week.
