Frankfurt / Main (dpa) – A stripper ordered for a bachelor party triggered a police operation in Frankfurt. The man “underestimated the martial effect of his performance,” the police said on Monday. Accordingly, the 31-year-old was in the city center on Friday evening in an American police uniform with a helmet and was carrying an alleged assault rifle.
“Due to the overall circumstances and the fact that it was not clear whether the gun was a real gun or a toy gun, the man was arrested by drawing the gun,” the police report said. Previously, several people who had seen the “suspicious person” reported. The 31-year-old was brought to the ground and handcuffed. The gun turned out to be a “deceptively real” toy gun.
