On Tuesday, a woman in the Hessian Main metropolis of Frankfurt was just about to put her baby in a child seat in a taxi when the driver suddenly pulled away. Both mother and child were injured.
A spokesman for the Frankfurt police headquarters only reported on the tragic incident on Wednesday afternoon. Accordingly, the 42-year-old woman wanted to get into the VW Touran at around 8:30 p.m. on the corner of Fahrgasse and Braubachstrasse.
Previously, she intended to place her two-month-old infant in the child seat there and buckle it up. But before this was finished, the 50-year-old taxi driver hit the gas and wanted to drive off.

This led to a desperate scream from the 42-year-old, which prompted the driver to stop immediately, but he stopped his car directly on the mother’s right foot, causing her to fall and injure her.
For the infant, the accident ended far worse. The baby fell out of the seat and suffered serious head injuries.
