Serious sexual abuse of infants and young children

In Frankfurt and all of Hesse, police officers have launched a major blow against the possession of child pornography in the past three days.
Frankfurt am Main – the police has 32 apartments in total in a large-scale campaign Hessen searched. A total of 35 men are suspected of being child pornography, which “for the most part shows the most serious acts of sexual abuse of infants and young children,” as a spokesman said.

In the past three days, 289 investigators from the Hessian police were involved in the action, as announced on Thursday by the lead public prosecutor’s office in Frankfurt am Main.
The suspects between the ages of 17 and 60 are accused of obtaining and possessing child pornography.
During the searches, numerous pieces of evidence, in particular computers and data carriers, were seized, which are now being digitally and forensically evaluated.

The accused are said to have obtained the child pornographic material between October 2017 and September 2019 via two “public links from a file hosting service,” as the spokesman continued.
The investigation was triggered by a message from the foreign file hosting service.

The investigations against the 35 suspicious men from Hessen are ongoing.
