In Frankfurt and all of Hesse, police officers have launched a major blow against the possession of child pornography in the past three days.

The suspects between the ages of 17 and 60 are accused of obtaining and possessing child pornography.

During the searches, numerous pieces of evidence, in particular computers and data carriers, were seized, which are now being digitally and forensically evaluated.

The accused are said to have obtained the child pornographic material between October 2017 and September 2019 via two “public links from a file hosting service,” as the spokesman continued.

The investigation was triggered by a message from the foreign file hosting service.

The investigations against the 35 suspicious men from Hessen are ongoing.
