Third division champions FC Bayern Munich II are empty because second teams from licensed clubs do not participate. On average, 155,000 euros were earmarked for the clubs. The criteria are the existence of a performance center and the time spent by German U21 players in the 3rd division. The young talent fund was decided in autumn 2018 and was used for the first time for the 2018/2019 season.
