The report comes from Football Insider, with the post stating that the German club won the Colombian forward’s signature after his contract with River Plate expired.
Frankfurt is said to have beaten Glasgow giants Celtic and Rangers thanks to the signing of Santos Borre, and looks set to replace 28-goal forward Andre Silva, who looks set to be transferred to RB Leipzig.
Football Insider has stated that Santos Borre has already accepted Eintracht Frankfurt’s 4-year contract offer and that the deal could be announced this week if final details are finalized in time.
Santos Borre will have to fill in some big shoes in a bid to replace the Bundesliga’s second top scorer in Andre Silva. But Santos Borre is in good shape for River Plate, scoring 22 goals in 42 games during the 2019-20 season.
