Frankfurt: Planning status for EM 2024

(01/29/2024) The UEFA Euro 2024 will kick off in Germany in less than five months, and the host city Frankfurt has invited around 110 partners and supporters to a professional exchange.

Above all, people from EURO 2024 GmbH, the Hessian Football Association, Tourismus+Congress GmbH, Sportpark Stadion Gesellschaft Projektentwicklungen mbH, the Hessian Ministry of Sports and, last but not least, representatives of the administration from many areas of the city of Frankfurt am Main accepted the invitation.
Together in the Host City Talk, Ambassador Deborah Levi and Ambassador Alex Meier shared impressions from their sports careers and looked forward to the upcoming period with five exciting games in Frankfurt.
The event offered a comprehensive and constructive exchange between all participants. Positive discussions and anticipation for the upcoming UEFA Euro 2024 can be felt in the city. Mayor Mike Josef thanked everyone involved for their great commitment: “The host city Frankfurt is looking forward to the next few months with confidence, as everyone is determined to celebrate an unforgettable football festival for fans from all over the world. The fan zone in a prominent location on the banks of the Main in front of the skyline with a varied program for all guests will have a great media impact.” His thanks go to everyone who took part, especially the transport companies, Deutsche Bahn, the FES, the police and the emergency services for the cooperation so far and the sports youth and the sports group for their active support in the fan zone.
