The 59-year-old driver of a Hyundai drove around 4.50 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) on Frankenallee in the direction of Schmidtstrasse in Frankfurt-Gallus.
At number 351, a 36-year-old cyclist suddenly crossed the road from the pedestrian and cycle path on Weilbacher Strasse. It came to a collision with the car. The cyclist fell on the road and was seriously injured. The man had to be taken to a hospital immediately, where he was admitted as an inpatient.
The vehicles involved suffered material damage totaling around 2,700 euros.
