Eight-week Mainkai closure for cars and trucks
Motorists must also be patient. The Mainkai, for example, was closed for eight weeks from July 11th to September 5th. In order to relieve the city center and the district of Sachsenhausen from motorized traffic during this time, the city has drawn up a bypass concept. Accordingly, separate diversions are planned for trucks and cars. Cars should switch to the Frankfurt City Ring, the Anlagenring and the Alleenring in the north of the Main area.
