The public prosecutor’s office requested nine and a half years in prison for manslaughter for the 34-year-old Moldovan in the dock, the defense demanded an acquittal for self-defense. The 39-year-old roommate died in April last year after suffering a deep stab in his neck from his enormous loss of blood. According to the defense, however, he had initially threatened the accused with a knife.
