– Frankfurter Buta secures a loan to move to France
Frankfurt’s Bundesliga team, Eintracht, has loaned 27-year-old Aurelio Buta to French club Stade Reims for the current season. As Eintracht confirmed, Buta has now completed the move to France. Stade Reims also has the option of signing Buta permanently.
The talented young Portuguese player had previously moved to Frankfurt from Belgian club Royal Antwerp in the summer of 2022. Unfortunately, Buta was unavailable for several months at the start of his time in Hesse due to knee surgery. Nevertheless, the winger managed to play in 30 Bundesliga games for Eintracht last season.
Regarding Buta’s development, Eintracht sporting director Timmo Hardung stated in a press release: “Although there were initial obstacles, Aurelio has shown impressive progress and integration into the team.”
Although Buta’s loan from Boston to Frankfurt’s Bundesliga team affected his regular appearances, Eintracht is from Hesse. Buta’s current club in France, Stade Reims, are showing interest in making the player’s transfer permanent, due to his strong performances.
