According to AP news agency and Sky News the victim, 53-year-old Frank Tyson, had crashed his car into a pole and entered a cafe shortly before his arrest on April 18.
Canton police have now released footage from the officers’ body cameras. It shows the officers being led to the bar by a passenger. There, a woman opens the door and says, “Get him out of here right now.”

When the officers try to lay hands on him, he resists and repeatedly shouts, “They want to kill me.” The man is kneeling and placed on his stomach on the ground. Then he is held back with a knee on his back, and with that it immediately appears that he cannot breathe.
