Pop singer Frank Schöbel takes on a guest role in the daily novella “Rote Rosen” and checks into the hotel “Drei Könige”, expected to be seen from September 14, 2022 in the first.
Great excitement for Tina: Eastern idol Frank Schöbel is in town and is giving an interview on Radio Lüneburg. The pop singer is a real celebrity in the East and brings back childhood memories for Tina. She really wants to meet him, but a large order at the nursery thwarts her plans. But as luck would have it, Frank Schöbel ends up in Ben’s workshop when his car breaks down. Unaware of how much his wife envies him for meeting him, he lets the singer go without an autograph. But in Lüneburg, paths quickly cross and Frank Schöbel meets his old friend Hannes Lüder again. Together with Hannes, Ben manages to arrange an unforgettable Ostalgie evening for Tina. With a star guest, of course!
Frank Schoebel started his hit career in the 1960s. Twice he won the “Hit Competition of the GDR”. In 1985, together with his then wife Aurora and their two daughters, he recorded the album “Christmas in the Family”, which became the best-selling album in East German history. Hits like “Party Twist”, “Like a Star” or “Hot Summer” are evergreens to this day. Due to his many appearances in television shows such as “Ein Kessel Buntes”, “ZDF-Fernsehgarten”, “Welcome to Carmen Nebel”, “Musikantendampfer” or the shows by Florian Silbereisen, he is extremely well known and popular. Frank Schöbel is not only on the road as a composer of over 300 songs, but also as a TV presenter, actor and author.
