Frank and Rogier, who broke through thanks to their participation in the always high-profile program Rich, Poor, were together for seventeen years. “Unfortunately it’s over”, Frank opens a booklet about their relationship in the video. “There is a time to come and a time to go.”
Frank does not want to explain in more detail exactly what their relationship has broken down. “It’s not up to me to say anything about that,” he says when Aran asks if Rogier has changed. What he does want to say is that they had been having problems for two years. “We sometimes found each other on TV, during recordings,” he admits. “But we had nothing in common anymore.”

Frank knows nothing about the fact that stories are circulating claiming that they broke up because Rogier would use narcotics. He says: “I’ve never seen that. But I think you don’t want to see that from your partner either. I don’t mind if someone uses that, but it shouldn’t be that you become a different person. And there just couldn’t talk to him.”
Just because they broke up doesn’t mean Frank doesn’t care about his ex anymore. “I’ve been with Rogier for seventeen years, of course I still like how Rogier was. But he isn’t at the moment (…) If you’re not happy with someone, you have to say goodbye to that.”

Earlier, Aran spoke with Tim Douwsma, who has repeatedly spoken out against the corona policy. The singer does not want to be vaccinated or tested, which also means that he no longer performs or appears on TV. Tim talks candidly about it in the video below:
