Kai Havertz is the most expensive purchase Chelsea last summer. However on the field, his performance was not satisfactory however Frank Lampard still patient.
Kai Havertz bought Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen with a price of more than 70 million pounds or the equivalent of Rp 1.3 trillion and a contract contract until 2025. The transfer makes Havertz the second most expensive player for Chelsea, the number one being Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The German midfielder does have a sip record with Bayer Leverkusen. From 150 appearances in all competitions during 2016 to 2020, he recorded 46 goals and 31 assists.
He is also 21 years old. Havertz was touted as a potential young player.
Kai Havertz actually stuck together Chelsea. From 10 matches in the Premier League, Havertz has only scored one goal and two assists.
Havertz still seems to have trouble adapting. His goals and brilliant action were far from being expected.
Even so, the Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard still believe in him. Lampard is still patient.
“We have to be patient with Havertz, because he is a high quality talent who has come to this league,” he said as quoted by the press. BBC.
“People who criticize him have to wait and give time to the young players. I know what kind of player Kai Havertz will be,” he continued.

Kai Havertz also could not do much when Chelsea defeated Everton 0-1 in continuation Premier League on Sunday (13/12) in the morning WIB. Havertz, who was placed in the attacking post on the right wing, was unable to make a shot or provide a mature pass.
“In modern times there will be criticism for every player at every club who loses in one game,” said Frank Lampard.
