Frank Dane starts his week ‘sad’ after saying goodbye to the morning show

Frank Dane and his team suffered a major blow on December 27: Talpa Network informed them that day that the morning show on Radio 538 would be taken over by Wietze de Jager and Klaas van der Eerden from January 31. The news came very unexpectedly for Frank, which is why he chose not to continue until January 31, but to stop immediately.

Presenting the morning show for three years also means that Frank had to get out of bed three years early, something that is apparently still there, according to a post on his Instagram. ‘No alarm clock today for the first time. But still awake at 6 o’clock’, that’s how he starts his post. ‘It’s a sad morning. Miss a lot, but especially the great team around me. Jelte, Jelmer, Roelof, PJ, Eke, Vincent’, he concludes with a heart.

Wietze and Klaas had to take over from Frank and his team earlier than expected. Rob Goossens was not really pleased with their debut and found it ‘a bit uncomfortable’.
