Frank and Rogier consider lat relationship: ‘It must be okay’

It all started with a phone call that Frank made and Rogier later received. Frank would have called his younger friend arrogant in it. And have said that fame has gone to his head. “Star allures, I?” Rogier now snarls in the Story. “The day that I get star looks is the day that I hang myself”, he says from the house of Rachel Hazes, with whom he is now staying for a while. “What a top bitch that is!”

It hurts Rogier that his great love Frank has taken those words into his mouth. “I do remember what is straight and crooked,” he assures the reader. And although it is now thundering between the two most popular interior stylists from RTL, Rogier hopes that things will clear up again. “It should be okay. No one in my family has ever been divorced and I certainly don’t want to be the first.”

That is why Rogier thinks it is an idea to stop living together for a while. “No more being together seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. I can imagine that we will live in two different houses close to each other.”

In the meantime, Frank keeps himself in the background. Of course he doesn’t like the fact that Rogier has thrown his accounting on the street. “But a conversation would now lead to another quarrel. And I don’t want that,” says Frank in the Private. The eldest of the couple is of the opinion that Rogier should improve his life. “If he does that, we can continue together.”

Frank also has full confidence that the two will eventually be able to get through a door together again. “Anyway, I will continue to have faith in Rogier. I think he will come around again, but it is now his turn.”
