In a purely electoral posture, Michel Stefani does not hesitate to make François Tatti responsible for the waste crisis at the same level as Gilles Simeoni and, moreover, accuses him of not having warned about its financial consequences. This is an outright untruth.
The causes of the waste crises are known: first of all the abandonment of PIEDMA and energy recovery, then the successive blockages of storage centers. No one can seriously claim that François Tatti is responsible for it. In the same way that one cannot impute to François Tatti any “silence”. At each blockage, he publicly alerted to the financial consequences in the short and medium term. For example, on December 12, 2019 he recalled in a public letter addressed to the mayor of Bastia, that the blocking of Viggianello organized by Jean Félix Acquaviva, president of Femu a Corsica, cost € 35,000 per day for the sole baling . It is this succession of difficulties which today leads Syvadec to increase the contribution of the CAB by 1 million euros per year.
But that in no way explains the increase in tax pressure of 4.5 million euros per year scheduled for the Community Council on April 2.
This results from political choices which are the exclusive responsibility of the nationalist territorial, municipal and community majorities. It would be logical that they fully assume the consequences and the disapproval of the population. However, by scrambling the messages in this way, Michel Stefani plays into the hands of the nationalist majority, which does not fail to rejoice. This is unfortunately a habit on his part: in the second round of the municipal election already, it was Jean Zuccarelli who was targeted as a traitor. The targets change but the beneficiaries remain the same: Gilles Simeoni and Pierre Savelli ”.
