Francisco-Xavier promises to boost the Hidalgo health sector

Francisco Xavier Berganza Escorza, candidate of the Movimiento Ciudadano (MC) party for the governorship of the State of Hidalgo, was present with the members of the Hidalgo Medical College with whom he spoke and presented part of his health program.

Assistant medical personnel told Berganza that, “when we do not have the minimum essential to carry out the consultations, medical praxis is put at risk.

“We as health personnel buy our own face mask, as well as for the patient. The official Mexican norm to have the minimum of furniture necessary to carry out the consultation is in an average of less than 50 percent”, they indicated in a meeting with the candidate of the orange party. They also stated that many health centers are attended by social service interns and “the state government does not provide any contribution so that the intern doctor goes to the community to do said social service.

“How is it possible that there are higher scholarships for people who are not doing anything, compared to medical interns who are 24/6 in a health center?” they lamented.

Francis Xavier bluntly said “We’re not going to do anything if we don’t do financial engineering, the problem is corruption. With transparent tenders with mirror audits, that is how it will be in my government”, she maintained.

Finally, he pointed out that opportunities must be given to state doctors, “we must privilege the Hidalgo guild, if we do not do it that way, there is no way to get ahead,” he concluded.
