Francisco Ramírez Acuña was governor of Jalisco from 2001 and 2006; He was also Secretary of the Interior in the first years of then-President Felipe Calderón.
Currently, he is a candidate for senator for the PAN. Faced with this violence, in 13 municipalities of Jalisco no one wants to be a candidate, so opposition deputies are preparing a proposal for emergency and unanimous legal reform to try to stop this insecurity.
