Francisco Cerúndolo defeated Federico Coria in Romania and there will be a duel of Argentines in the quarterfinals

The Argentine Francisco Cerúndolo, number 21 and first seed in the tournament, defeated his compatriot Federico Coria (83) this Friday by 7/5 and 6/1 and qualified for the quarterfinals of Bucharest (Romania), a tournament that plays on clay.

The match, which was resolved in one hour and thirty-four minutes, was decided by details in the first set, which featured seven service breaks in twelve games where Cerúndolo won thanks to a definitive break in the twelfth game.

Navone defeated the Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild in three sets, in a match that concluded in two hours and 51 minutes, with a first set where the Buenos Aires native won with a solitary ‘break’ in the sixth game; but in the second the Brazilian seemed more comfortable and won widely, by 2/6. In the final set, Navone emerged victorious in the break dance (five in twelve games) and took the match 7/5.
