A new blunder… It is not the first time that Françis Lalanne surprises with his remarks but it always seems absurd when he cries conspiracy, in particular by sharing fake news. Everyone knows their position on the Covid-19 vaccine. The artist still showing himself to be firmly opposed to the injection but not really having any real arguments to support his remarks. Only images and videos broadcast on the Internet, without any prior verification, used to try to “wake up” citizens.
With the war in Ukraine, the Russians found a new ideal prey to share the fake news broadcast by the country and aimed at mounting against Ukraine. The country of Vladimir Putin, pretending that their opponent Volodymyr Zelensky, would lie to his people and would have fled the country for quite a while despite his videos still showing him in Kiev and promising his people that he would take up arms to defend them. According to the fake news and Françis Lalanne, this would be totally false.
“Surprised to see a video of this lying comedian, president of Ukraine, saying he was in Kiev while several European leaders including Mario Draghi said he was hiding in Italy. In fact, he is lying to his people. He did flee Kiev and his videos were pre-recorded! This guy is a psychopath from…”, wrote the artist… It did not take less to arouse anger among many twittos and personalities. Mathieu Madénian, for example, reacted very quickly to this tweet: “I never thought I would say that in my entire life, but Francis Lalanne, I prefer when he sings…”
Others being more violent to point the finger at the naivety of the singer: “This Francis #Lalanne is a fucking genius. A genius of bullshit, indecency and auditory torture. But a genius nonetheless. I hope I have the opportunity to tell him before he moves to Russia”. Since this release, Twitter has suspended his account, probably for spreading misleading information.
