The pianist and composer born in Luxembourg returned to Riga in the summer of 2023 to perform with electronic live performance at the annual electronic music event “TheRoom Live”. The performance, after a 26-year hiatus with electronic live performance, became Francesco Tristano’s first performance in Riga since his studies at the Academy of Music in 1997, when Tristano performed as a conservatory student, playing classical music repertoire.

Francesco Tristano has just published the short film “My Riga Connection”. The short film was directed by Viktors Buda, who won the audience’s recognition with the documentary “Dance Age” (2017) and was the author of several music genre films and works.
