A 22-year-old man was killed on Friday evening in the 14th arrondissement of Marseille, police sources said, confirming the information from the regional newspaper “La Provence”. The victim was hit by two bullets, in the pelvis and in the side, near the HLM Méditerranée, these sources confirmed. The death was pronounced at 11.40 pm, more than half an hour after the rescue intervention.
The young man was not known to the police or narcotics justice, said Marseille prosecutor Dominique Laurens. The judicial police were investigated in the case. The investigators will have to establish in particular whether a vehicle found on fire shortly after in the 13th arrondissement, “probably in connection” with this murder, according to the indictment, was used or not by the perpetrator or perpetrators of this murder.
