On the 30th (local time), the French Ministry of Health announced that it will require a negative COVID-19 test certificate for travelers from China.
According to Reuters and AFP, participants departing or transiting from mainland China must undergo a diagnostic test within 48 hours of departure and present a negative certificate.
AFP said random screening can be conducted upon arrival. Reuters said passengers on flights departing China will also be required to wear face masks.
However, the introduction date has not yet been set. The health ministry said sooner or later a government decree will be promulgated and announced to the member states of the European Union.
