France Travail: Government Reforms to Simplify Job Seeker Procedures and Integration Company Integration

A new logo, a new name and a new director, Pôle emploi becomes France Travail, with a promise: to simplify the procedures for job seekers. The government wants to facilitate their return to the job market, as in an integration company, and to put an end to the administrative millefeuille. Each job seeker will have a preferred contact. The reform also provides for changes to the RSA. All beneficiaries will be automatically registered as job seekers from January 1, 2025. More than two million people are affected. Half are considered very far from the world of work. RSA beneficiaries will have to sign an engagement contract: fifteen hours of activity per week dedicated to support, training and integration, a program that is too vague for opposition. France Travail also plans to strengthen controls. They will be doubled. For example, if an RSA job seeker is not actively looking for work, new sanctions are planned, which worries some unions. The government is giving itself until 2027 for France Travail to be fully operational. TF1 | Report M. Guénégan, A. Brousse, J. Demory
